Biography

In 2011, Teresa Luna was appointed by Governor C.L. “Butch” Otter as Director of the Department Administration and Chief Information Officer for the State of Idaho. Prior to being Director, Luna held positions of Chief of Staff and Interim Director for the Department. In her current capacity, Luna serves as the chair of the Group Insurance Advisory Committee and Risk Management Advisory Committee, vice chair of the Idaho Education Network (IEN) Program Resource Management Council, and Secretary to the Idaho Capitol Commission. Prior to heading the Department of Administration, Luna worked with the Idaho State Controller’s Office for 4 years.

Facilitating the deployment of digital trunked, two-way radio system throughout Idaho improving public safety services to Idaho citizens and visitors. The State of Idaho is hosting the National PSWN (Public Safety Wireless Network System) Symposium in Boise, Feb. 20-22, 2001.
