Biography

Lisa Feldner was appointed as the Chief Information Officer (CIO) for the State of North Dakota in April 2006. Dr. Feldner is a member of the Governor's cabinet and oversees the Information Technology Department which provides a consolidated infrastructure for state government and education.

In addition to providing statewide network and hosting services, the department provides software development, security, customer support, and K-12 education technology services. The department also has responsibilities for broadband mapping, the health information exchange, criminal justice information system, the education longitudinal data system, and was recently designated as the State’s point of contact for FirstNet.
