NASCIO is organizing an Enterprise Architecture Cooperative.
This initiative was begun in the Commonwealth of Virginia and is gaining support across other NASCIO members. The initiative involves an adaptation of the Federal Reference Models to reflect state government. The first phase of this initiative will devoted to developing a state Business Reference Model for each participating state that maps agencies to the state BRM. It is expected that this initiative will eventually encompass Information, Solutions and Technical Architectures.
