NASCIO Private Sector IT Leaders on Annual Conference Panel “Perspectives on the Future of IT”

(Lexington, KY) – The National Association of State Chief Information Officers (NASCIO) is gearing up for the first private sector panel, “Perspectives on the Future of IT.” 

This session will take place at the Annual Conference in Austin, Texas on the morning of Tuesday, October 27, 2009 and represents the first of a kind dialogue for NASCIO. Speakers were selected by a team of state CIOs from a field of highly qualified corporate member candidates. The following panelists were selected to participate in this forum: 

  • Paul Bell, President, Global Public Sector, Dell
  • Jack Dangermond, President and CEO, ESRI
  • Rebecca Jacoby, SVP and Chief Information Officer, Cisco

This panel of executive leaders from NASCIO corporate member companies will share their vision for the Future of IT and how innovations in the private sector will impact the adoption of new technologies and strategies in the public sector.
