(New Orleans, LA) - On September 21, the National Association of State Chief Information Officers (NASCIO), honored NASCIO President and Missouri Chief Information Officer, Gerry Wethington with its prestigious Meritorious Service Award during its 2004 Annual conference, in New Orleans, Louisiana. NASCIO created this award to spotlight a state CIO who has exemplified outstanding service, advocacy, and leadership in state government. Meritorious Service Award recipients consistently champion the vision, mission and principles of NASCIO.
Wethington's vision and commitment to NASCIO is a driving force in elevating the association to the national stage.
