NASCIO Members Named Among Government Technology's "Top 25 Doers, Dreamers and Drivers of 2007"

(Lexington, Ky.) The National Association of State Chief Information Officers (NASCIO) is pleased to announce that NASCIO state members were among those named the "Top 25 Doers, Dreamers and Drivers of 2007" by Government Technology magazine.

Government Technology's annual top 25 list honors individuals who are redefining and advancing technology's role in government and society.

2007 honorees include the following:

  • George Bakolia, Chief Information Officer, State of North Carolina
  • Bill Bott, Deputy Chief Information Officer, State of Missouri
  • Jim Burns, Chief Information Officer, State of Alabama
  • Aneesh P. Chopra, Secretary of Technology, Commonwealth of Virginia
  • Steve Fletcher, Chief Information Officer, State of Utah
  • Dan Ross, Chief Information Officer, State of Missouri
  • Mark Rutledge, former Chief Information Officer, Commonwealth of Kentucky

In addition to their outstanding achievements in advancing IT policies in their home states, these NASCIO members have also fostered excellence in government technology through their service and contributions to NASCIO.
