The D.C. Fly-In is an opportunity for State CIOs and other key staff to meet with Congressional and federal government decision makers on policies and programs that have a significant impact on state governments. The D.C. Fly-In event is open to only state CIOs and state policy officials, and the number of registrants is limited.
NASCIO’s D.C. Fly-In provides a venue for federal and state IT policymakers to share information that will shape public sector IT in the years to come. Your participation ensures that your state’s viewpoints are heard and you are up to date on the latest IT policy issues that may impact your state government.
NASCIO strives to improve federal policy to ensure citizens receive secure, effective, and efficient IT services from their governments. As a key facet of NASCIO's advocacy and government affairs outreach, this annual event establishes and strengthens relationships between NASCIO and members of Congress, Congressional staff, federal agency officials and state association partners. The goal is to deliver NASCIO's message on priority policy issues and reinforce recognition of NASCIO as the primary resource for federal policy makers on state information technology issues.
