Registration and onsite check-in will be located in the Grand Ballroom Foyer on the Fifth Floor. Please stop by to receive your name badge and other conference materials during the following hours (subject to change):

Conference Schedule
Conference events begin  Sunday, October 13, and conclude Wednesday, October 16. Please check the conference agendafor the latest details on speakers and program changes. Not every session or event is open to all attendees, so please check session descriptions carefully. NASCIO business functions are open to registered conference attendees only (no spouses or guests).

Conference Attire
Business casual attire is appropriate for all conference activities. Meeting rooms may be cool, so please consider a jacket or sweater. Comfortable shoes are suggested for the conference. The average high temperature for Philadelphia in October  is 67 degrees Fahrenheit, with average lows at 48 degrees Fahrenheit.

Tuesday, October 15 is designated casual day.

Special Assistance
Should you need assistance during the conference, please stop by the registration and information desk or ask a member of the NASCIO staff. In cases of a medical emergency, you may also dial for assistance using any hotel house phone.

Internet Access
NASCIO has arranged for complimentary internet in Philadelphia Marriott guest rooms using your laptop or mobile device.
Additionally, conference attendees may use the NASCIO Re-Charging Station, located in the Grand Ballroom Foyer. A complimentary computer with internet access, printer and charging station are provided for your convenience and will be available during the following hours of operation (subject to change):

Business Center
The business center is located on the first floor of the Philadelphia Marriott and is the FedEx Center. The center  provides copy service, fax service, network/Internet printing, overnight delivery/pick-up, post service and secretarial service. 

Conference Policies

Name Badge Policy
Please remember to wear your conference name badge while attending NASCIO functions. This allows you access to conference sessions, meals and receptions. Your badge is proof of registration. Without it, you will not be allowed to participate in conference activities.

Guest Policy
Everyone attending NASCIO Annual Conference events must be registered for the conference. In some cases, guest registrations are allowed. Registered guests have limited access: they may attend social and meal functions, but not business portions of the conference. Guests must wear a name badge while attending NASCIO functions and observe all conference policies.

Responsible Drinking Policy
Recognizing the emphasis on networking through receptions and social events and the potential for alcohol abuse, NASCIO encourages attendees to drink responsibly. Supporting this policy, NASCIO offers nonalcoholic beverages at all functions where alcohol is served. Alcohol will not be served to anyone under the age of 21.

Mobile Device and Cell Phone Policy
As a courtesy to speakers and other attendees, please refrain from the use of mobile devices and cell phones during sessions and other business functions. We ask that you turn your phone or device to vibrate and leave the session to receive or make a call.

Photography/Videography Disclosure
NASCIO takes photographs and video and audio recordings during conferences for use in association advertising, newsletters and other promotional materials, whether in print, electronic or other media, including the NASCIO website. By participating in this conference you grant NASCIO the right to use your name and likeness for such purposes.
