Midyear Conference Cancellation Details

The 2020 Midyear Conference, scheduled May 3-5, is cancelled.

In response to Coronavirus (COVID-19), the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention recommend canceling all gatherings over 50 people for the next eight weeks. We are following that guidance.

Here’s what you need to know regarding the cancellation.

Event Details

Will Midyear be rescheduled?
Given the uncertainty of the situation, there are no plans to reschedule the Midyear Conference. We do hope to see everyone at the Annual Conference, scheduled October 11-14 in Minneapolis, MN.

Will Midyear be held virtually?
With many of our members’ attentions focused on the COVID-19 crisis, we do not plan to hold a full virtual conference. We do plan to host a series of webinars to share some of the content scheduled for Midyear. Watch for dates and more details coming soon.

NASCIO Give Back Program
Give Back donations already received will be sent to our Midyear partner, Byte Back. If you would like to learn more about the organization or support their work to train students virtually during this time, please visit the Byte Back website.
