SUMMARY OF WORK: NDIT provides specialized technology and support services administering and implementing a variety of enterprise servers and applications. These functions include design, development, implementation, and maintenance of computer systems, network administration, computer hardware and software support. The successful candidate must be able to make sound decisions with minimal guidance, stay current with trends and changes in the area of technical expertise and related areas. Must also possess strong interpersonal skills with the ability to motivate individuals and create a strong team environment. This position primarily works to provide technical administration and support for servers running on the Windows operating system along with agency specific applications. DUTIES AND TASKS: • Support, administer and maintain Windows Server operating systems • Knowledge of PowerShell or other scripting language • Knowledge of Network security • System security and patching via SCCM • Proficient with MS SQL server, Active Directory, MS Office • Perform server software installations, configurations and upgrades MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Systems Administrator II Requires one of the following: • Bachelor’s degree in computer science computer or management information systems, or a closely related field that included computer science coursework AND three plus years of current, progressive, and specialized work experience supporting, administering and implementing complex, enterprise servers and applications. • Associate degree in a computer related field AND five years of related experience as stated above Application Procedures/Comments: Applicants are screened based on qualifications, successful completion of the interview process and a background and criminal investigation.
