The successful candidate is responsible for promoting and supporting Scrum and serving the Scrum Team and the larger organization. The candidate will ensure that team members understand and follow Scrum theory, practices, standards, processes and values. The Scrum Master must possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills and be able to perform in a fast-paced, progressive and challenging environment where all team members are responsible for project success. Duties and Tasks •Provide workload direction and guidance to team members •Lead and coach team members on how to use Agile/Scrum practices •Ensure team members are practicing the core agile principles of collaboration, prioritization, accountability and transparency/visibility •Communicate with all stakeholders, including executive management, architects, developers, product owners, etc. on product deliverables and issues •Organize and facilitate daily Scrum meetings, Sprint Planning, Sprint Reviews and Retrospectives, and other scrum related meetings •Build and maintain relationships with team members and stakeholders Minimum Qualifications The Scrum Master will have a broad understanding of Agile/Scrum practices and significant experience with the following: •Guiding through Agile/Scrum practices •Identifying and removing impediments to team success •Coaching team members on Agile and Scrum •Providing feedback on project team performance with a special focus on Agile competencies •Proficient in the use of Agile delivery tools such as Azure DevOps •Serving as a liaison between technical and non-technical departments Minimum requirements for the Scrum Master will include: •Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, or closely related field and three years of current and progressive experience involving difficult programming, systems/business analysis work, project management and/or agile experience; •Or an Associate’s degree in Computer Science or closely related field, and five years of current and progressive experience involving difficult programming, systems/business analysis work, and/or agile experience.
