NASCIO Joins Other State and Local Associations Opposing 10-year Moratorium on Enforcement of State AI Laws

NASCIO joined with other state and local associations to express our strong opposition to a proposed 10-year moratorium on enforcement of state AI laws. This moratorium would seriously impede states’ ability to protect citizens and is a significant overreach of Congressional authority. We urge the Senate to remove this provision before voting on any final bill.
