The NASCIO platform is the most unique conference forum that I have had the chance to attend. It is uniquely positioned to facilitate peer engagement and custom collaboration with potential technology partners. The discussions were focused on our specific initiatives and whether [vendor partners] could assist.
I’ve been coming to NASCIO meetings for almost 20 years… the private sector and the CIOs come together, roll up their sleeves and work together as partners to uncover and address the emerging challenges that states are facing and figuring out ways we can work on solutions together.
Attending NASCIO Conferences
Conferences are open to NASCIO members only.
To ensure members can connect and collaborate at in-person events, organizations are limited in how many representatives they may send. There is no limit for virtual events.
Conferences feature educational and networking sessions. You can view sample agendas for Midyear and Annual.
Speaking at NASCIO Conferences
Conferences feature professional speakers for keynote sessions and largely utilize members for topical sessions.
NASCIO does not host a call for abstracts/proposals. Session topics and speakers flow through the NASCIO programs committee. This infographic explains the planning process. Members should watch the NASCIO Community for ad-hoc speaking opportunities.
Sponsoring NASCIO Conferences
Sponsorship is open to NASCIO corporate members in good standing.
Packages and registration open date will be shared via email with the organization’s primary contact, typically about 4 months prior to a conference.
Exhibiting at NASCIO Conferences
Conferences focus on relationships, not products. Our events are education and networking based; they do not have an exhibit hall, trade show or product demos.
