Change has a way of teaching us things we wish we’d known earlier. Your lesson might come from a transformation, new role or workforce challenge — or from a hobby, volunteer experience, big move or travel adventure.
We’re looking for NASCIO members to share a personal story about change and what it taught them about leadership.
What to share
Think about one experience with change and tell us:
- The change: What were you navigating?
- The lesson: What did it teach you about leadership?
- The advice: What would you tell another NASCIO member?
The format
20 slides × 20 seconds = 6 minutes, 40 seconds
PechaKucha-style talks are fast paced and focused, with slides advancing automatically.
What to know
- Submit by: Wednesday, September 9
- Speakers selected: 3–4
- Acceptance notifications: September 14
- Slides due: September 23
- Session: Tuesday, September 29 at 3:30 p.m. on the main stage
- Who can submit: All NASCIO members
- Speakers selected for the Lessons Learned session will count against their corporate organization’s total attendee count
- NASCIO is unable to provide travel support for selected speakers
